The mission of the Elba Church of Christ is to live God’s message of new life in Christ by saving and keeping souls to the end through love.
The vision of this congregation is to be known throughout our community and the world as a loving, caring, congregation of God’s people.

LOCAL EVANGELISM GOALS: Individual Membership · Find verses about singing ~ everyone is encouraged to search for Bible verses on singing, music, and song · Read four books of the Bible: Psalms, Proverbs, Romans, Matthew Membership Goals - 11 Baptized or Restored in 2011 · How? - Each member to bring 6 people or invite 30. (6/30) · Campaign - We are making plans for a local campaign. Worship Goals · Average attendance of 125 · Involve more in service.
OTHER EVANGELISM GOALS: 1. Open Door Ministry: (Dr. Demar Elam) · Contribute funds to help pay salaries, build worship places, furnish transportation and provide needed supplies for congregations in other parts of the world. · Send cards to Open Door Team each month (addresses provided) · Pray for the Open Door Team 2. Amerindian Missions (Jerry Davidson) · Send four large shipments of needed materials (January, April, July, October) · Send one mission team to Ani · Chickens for Guyana 3. BENEVOLENCE~ Junior Tyson “for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me…..Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these, My brethren, you did it to Me……” (Matt. 25:35,36,40) We work to provide for the needs of our brethren, members of the community, and transients GOALS: · Give out 12,000 pounds of food to the needy of our community. · Develop a clothes bank under direction of Betsy Martin and Cassie Crittenden · The Santa Claus Project FACILITIES & GROUNDS ~ Bill Hall GOALS: · Make our payment on the new building of thirty six thousand dollars. · Repair roof over educational side of building. · Develop back up for general maintenance. TRANSPORTATION - Nathan Nichols “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters….It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23& 24. GOALS: · Recruit at least four new van drivers. · Meet with all current and new van drivers to discuss and distribute the Van Usage Policy created by our Elders. · Develop a schedule of rotation for drivers who are committed to filling the van. STAFF ~ Philip B. Box SALARIES Provides salaries for our pulpit and youth minister, secretaries, guest speakers, and facilities manager. Willie Ray Crocker ~ Facilities Manager EMERGENCY FUND Each year we experience unexpected break downs of equipment, natural disasters, and other unforeseen events. This emergency fund is meant to cover emergencies. PAYMENTS Our local work is facilitated by having great facilities! Our new building cost $250,000.00, of which we raised $100,000.00 and financed $150,000.00 with payments annually of $36,000.00 due at the end of each January. We have already raised in excess of our first payment, and are on the way to this year’s payment. We also have a line of credit, and a credit card. OTHER GREAT WORKS To support other congregations and good works by providing funds to be used as necessary. This money will come from 5th Sunday contributions, four times per year with one group or project receiving the support. A. Camp Wiregrass (January 30, 2011) B.
